Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: We may collect and store any personal information you enter on our website, such first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, social security number, birth date, mailing address, and student loan account information when you register for an account or through a third-party provider. By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information from other sources: We may obtain information about you from third-parties, such as your employer, your payroll provider, and publicly available sources including social media. If you provide us or a third-party provider through our site with your username and password/pin in order for us to access your student loan account, you authorize us to access, collect, use and share your student loan account information as necessary.

We do not share your information with others except as laid out below: Your Employer: If you are a registered user of Highway Benefits and your employer is participating in a student loan matching program as described in the terms of use, we will provide your employer with relevant information. This information is necessary in order for Highway Benefits to provide our service. In these cases, we will do our best to provide only aggregate information to your employer. By registering as a user, you consent to Highway Benefits disclosing your personal information to your employer. We will do our best to make the information anonymized in some fashion, however, you acknowledge that in some instances data may be de-anonymized for reasons beyond our control.
